ABOUT THE CONFERENCE


Sustainability has strong relevance to all spectra of our lives today. A plethora of research works across all disciplines are already in place to address it especially in the context of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) agenda. With the theme "Multidisciplinary Perspectives on Sustainability and Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Agenda", Langkawi International Tourism and Hospitality (LITH) research center plan to capture these discourses and debates on sustainability images, concepts, and practices as well as its trends and functions. It also aims to uncover policies, trends and evolutions in sustainability planning, marketing and management that could have global relevance and applications. This inaugural event, which signifies an initiative to foster contestations and dialogues on sustainability from a multidisciplinary perspective, also plans to capture issues and challenges that could hinder sustainability in the hope of finding strategies and innovations to move forward on the agenda. The conference will serve as a platform for academicians, students and practitioners alike to share their research on SDG from a multitude of business and social sciences perspectives.
